BLACKPOOL 2008 This year the venue for the Blackpool week-end was the Colonial Hotel on the South Shore. The entertainment was organised by the hotel with a free bar from 8 o'clock until 10 on both nights. The food was really good with a carvery on Friday and a choice on Saturday. The Club soon settled down for the usual nights of drink, dance and fun. The singer on Friday night was very good. Comments from Club members as follows :- Carol & Gary Room small but clean, staff really friendly. Bar staff good and one really sexy. Got drunk on Friday , filled up Saturday. Brill company, Charlie good at stripping BRILLIANT. Thanks Steph Gill & Chris Room ok, food good, staff great. Fantastic weekend, one of the best. Weather bad but did not stop us from having fun. Drank too much but who cares. Friday singer fantastic, Saturday singer ok, good D.J. All in all a great time. Dave & Liz Arrived 24 hrs late. Weather crap went out for 20 mins in rain, back to the bar. Excellent company. Good food. Good crack. Uki Arrived early Friday can't remember owt else. Sheila Don`t know if the free bar was a good idea cos I can`t remember. Brian & Sandra Good weekend, Could be back next year. Charlie & Sandra Free bar, what free bar, Brilliant weekend, Glad we joined WMCC. Rex & Janet Great weekend no probs, come again next year. John Ran out of draft Guinness. Les & Jean Great weekend. Lovely roasties, but less corn on the cob next time. We had a lovely sea view and the staff were all helpful & polite to us noisy inbreds. Thanks to Steph for organising xxx. Mark & Yvonne Cramped room but food was very nice. Very good, Love it. Andy & Steph Good weekend, food nice, entertainment ok. Defo have a sea view next time. Missed Welbeck though , it`s like a comfy pair of shoes. Plus side was the free bar !!!!!
