Easter Egg Run 2008

The Easter egg run  was well attended this year with both our Club and Hindley club and also some friends of members joining in. We set off in convoy and despite the clouds and wet roads we stayed dry all day. First stop was Prees Heath where everyone had brekkie and then on to Sam`s new unit at Condover for egg handover and cheque presentation. A quick collection at the unit produced an extra £84 to go with the £345 cheque so we hope it will buy something nice for the residents to enjoy. Some of us then carried on to the the Ponderosa cafe where, although cold, the sun came out. Another good day out and a "thank you" to the staff at the unit for the drinks and cakes, we always get a friendly welcome
