secret until the prize giving at the Club meeting on

Details
This years run takes us through the scenic Peak District
National Park, along the Hope Valley to Grindleford. This years starting point
is
the Texaco Service Station at Lane head in Lowton. Here you should buy some petrol or sweets or something and get a
receipt showing the time. Reset your trip meter or take your mileage then set
out on your chosen route. The target is the Station Cafe in Grindleford where
you can get a really nice breakfast and freshen up. When you reach the
cafe you should take your mileage and buy some sweets or something to get a
receipt which will show the actual time you arrived. You should keep the
receipts so they can be handed in to the organiser as proof of actually doing
the run and confirming the time you took. You can do the run as many times as
you like but the last chance is Sunday 30th September.
REMEMBER this is
not a race, time trial or anything even
slightly competitive. Only the organiser knows which route was taken, how far it was and
how long it took. So just enjoy the ride through Derbyshire, note your time and mileage
and see if it comes anywhere near the organisers target.
