Westhoughton Motor Cycle Club meets on the second and fourth Monday each month at The Greyhound Pub, Manchester Road, Westhoughton. Meetings start at 8:15 p.m. (Most people arrive around 8:00 p.m.) There are club runs most weekends between March and October. Ride outs usually start from Lane Head, Lowton on Sunday Mornings. We have several teams entered in the British 50cc endurance championships (this is for fun), with plenty of support from club members. The club has a strong emphasis on families and runs regular social events for all tastes. You do not have to own a bike to be a member. You can still enjoy the club for what it is (a family bike club) We do NOT restrict members to one type of bike. Our members ride all types from custom, classic, sports, retro and even the odd super scoot. Our Club magazine the TANKSLAPPER is always worth a read and is published once a month. We hold camping week ends, the main one being held on August Bank Holiday. The club was established in 1987 and currently has a membership of more than 100. Initial membership costs are £12.00 for the first year and £8.00 for subsequent years. The Club gets discount at ESB Motor Cycles (One of our main sponsors) and Regina Chains. For any enquiries and details about the Club contact the Secretary, Gillian Glynn . NB These pages are for your benefit. Please let us know what you think.

widely acknowledged to be one of the best motorcycle club web sites in the
country.
